ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE CONSENT JFK IMPORT-EXPORT LLC — CONFIRMA *** Draft for review. These documents were prepared as a starting point and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Do not execute or publish any of them without review by qualified counsel in each relevant jurisdiction — the United States for the entity, the Democratic Republic of the Congo for the counterparties, and any jurisdiction whose law a counterparty insists upon. *** ## The consent you give By confirming consent and intent, and typing your name, on a document presented through the platform, you agree that your electronic signature has the same legal effect as your handwritten signature, and that the record we keep is the record of your agreement. This consent is given under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. Where your own law governs a document, that law applies to it; nothing here displaces a mandatory local requirement. ## What we record The document as it stood when it was sent, identified by its cryptographic fingerprint. Your name as typed. The moment you signed. Your consent and your statement of intent, separately confirmed. The identifiers of the session you signed from, stored as one-way values rather than raw details. Every one of these is written into an audit trail in which each entry is cryptographically linked to the one before it. Altering or removing any entry is detectable and is reported when the record is verified. ## What this means in practice **You are signing that exact file.** Its fingerprint is displayed to you before you sign. If the file changes afterwards, every signature on it fails verification and the change is visible. **Your name must match.** The typed name must correspond to the person the document was addressed to. It is not a free-text field. **Signing order is enforced.** Where a document has more than one signer, a later signature cannot be applied before an earlier one. **You may decline.** Declining is recorded with your reason and is not a failure state. ## Getting a copy, and signing on paper You may request a copy of any document you signed, together with its certificate of completion, at any time, at no charge, by writing to legal@[DOMAIN]. You may withdraw this consent and sign on paper instead. Tell us before signing and we will send the document for wet-ink signature. Withdrawing consent does not affect the validity of anything already signed electronically. ## What you need A device with a current web browser, an internet connection, the ability to open a PDF, and either a printer or somewhere to save a copy. If you cannot meet these, ask for paper. Effective 19 August 2026.
